Yes, I have had and enjoyed the Sleeman beers during my travels to the Great White North. Yes, there are some really good Canadian micros (Unibrou (sp?) immediately comes to mind). I recently had some very nice brews while visiting BC - Tree Brewing, Granville Island, Victoria Brewing, Street Brewing, among many other. But, hey, you have some of those 'watery' domestic beers also, don't you? <ggg>

I'm not too proud of the American Domestics, but the micros and new regionals are brewing up some world-class examples now. We've got some fantastic belgian-style brews (Hair of the Dog, New Belgium, Celis, and many other) plus some really good German and English Examples. I never thought I see so many good barleywines in the US, EVER!!! Importers are now also bringing in some beers that I never would have expected. It's a good time to love beer in America!

Cheers,
RS
