Napier International Technologies - SV-35 conforms to Boeing specs Napier International Technologies NIR Shares issued 16915083 1997-09-23 close $0.35 Wednesday Sep 24 1997 Mr James Grinnell reports Scientific Material International of Miami, Florida, a recognized facility for the aerospace industry, has delivered a second critical report confirming that Napier's SV-35 aviation paint stripper conforms with Boeing DG-17487, Revision L, Table 1 requirements for paint stripping. Napier recently announced that the SV-35 also passed all McDonnell Douglas CSD#1 Specs for removing paint from aluminum surfaces and high-strength steel components. In addition to the obvious advantages of being environmentally safe and user friendly (it is no longer necessary for workers to use protective clothing and breathing apparatus), SV-35's unique formulation actually lifts the paint by destabilizing the bond and releasing the paint, leaving the entire substrate, including rivets, perfectly clean. With the paint lifting in sheets that remain solid, recovery and clean up is greatly simplified and costs are dramatically reduced. Now that Napier's SV-35 conforms to both McDonnell Douglas and Boeing specs the company will begin an international launch of SV-35 into the large aerospace depainting industry. Management has entered into negotiations with several distributors which were awaiting these very positive results from SMI. The company anticipates a successful conclusion from these negotiations in the near future. (c) Copyright 1998 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com old url (better for printing)
