Hi Ken,
i use QP to scan and then analyze in WOW. QP is very fast. The index problem is only on the Dow. SPX and other indexes are accurate based on a little comparison that i did.
QP 1.0 offers stock and index data
QP 2.0 offers stock, index, and mutual fund data
neither version offers options, futures, commodities etc.

regards,

peter

"Anybody doing this now?" you ask. Lots of us. I scan with QP2 and then flip through the charts in WOW or Metastock.

To give you an idea of what we're doing with scans, you can have a look at my QP2 scan site, which has a few scans done by me and lots more written by many others. The scans are complex in some cases, but we've been testing our creativity. Most scans are fairly easy to write.

As for the indexes, the "problem" seems to be nothing more (or nothing less, I suppose) than how the high, low and close are calculated for the Dow. No stone is left unturned in our search for bugs, huh?
