Ah, but where else can you find stocks that go up when they announce that they are paying $49 million for something and then writing off 92% of the purchase price immediately? Is it the target or the currency they used that is only worth 8 cents on the dollar?

Oh, lest I forget, they are also very good at finding creative ways to use real cash too. Seems YHOO is going to pay Compaq for each Presario owner who visits a Yahoo site. That alone should push the stock, finally, to $150.
