I think we'll see some interest regenerated in the dd sector as analysts try to prep the market for Maxtor IPO. Witness the upgrade by Saloman Smith Barney on SEG today. They are suggesting a U in the market as drives are at or near bottom. They are also one of the lead companies bringing out Maxtor. I'd guess that tomorrow the DD industry will take its lead from today's horrible WDC warning of ($1.40)-something vs. expected ($0.50)-ish.
