Paul:

I see a combination of short squeeze and long pickers on NOVL. Right now we're just trying to eat through the supply at 12 1/4 to 12 1/2. I'm sure some may be shorting in this range, as well, and they just might get hurt. ;) BTW, are you in the "black" with those June 12.5 calls??

ITT Fluid Technology Standardizes on Novell's GroupWise Messaging And
Collaboration Solution

PROVO, Utah, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL - news) today announced that ITT Fluid Technology, the
world's largest pump company and one of the three core businesses of ITT industries, has selected Novell's GroupWise 5 to enhance
communication and collaboration among its 6,500 desktop PC users at 166 sites in over 20 countries. GroupWise 5 will replace
Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Mail, and Lotus CC Mail across the ITT Fluid Technology global information network, providing
users with integrated e-mail and groupware applications.

ITT Fluid Technology evaluated available enterprise collaboration solutions and elected to standardize on GroupWise 5 on the basis of
a lower total cost of ownership, including dramatically lower costs for hardware, deployment, and ongoing administration and
maintenance. In addition, ITT Fluid Technology determined that GroupWise 5 offered added value in the form of integrated
workflow and document capabilities, remote access to E-mail and other applications over the Internet, and integration with NDS
(Novell's industry-leading directory service) and related network management tools available on Novell's NetWare intelligent
network server platform.

''GroupWise enables us to leverage our Novell network infrastructure and roll-out a full-featured e-mail and collaboration solution
without incurring large new costs for administrative overhead and server hardware,'' said Andy Kiolbasa, Infrastructure Chief of
Technology for ITT Fluid Technology. ''We gain powerful new workflow and document management tools, available right out of the
box. At the same time, we can continue to build on the directory-enabled networking services and tools that Novell's NetWare
platform provides.''

By enabling single-point administration through its master directory, NDS, GroupWise 5 allows network administrators at ITT Fluid
Technology to centrally and hierarchically manage users, groups, network devices and applications. NDS helps ITT Fluid
Technology reduce the time and cost of network administration and take advantage of directory-enabled tools such as Novell's new
Z.E.N.works solution to distribute client software and manage user desktops.

''GroupWise also allows us to expand the added network functionality we get from NetWare, including the ability to quickly add and
delete users from the Messaging system and the network,'' said Kiolbasa. A further advantage of GroupWise for ITT Fluid
Technology is GroupWise WebAccess, which allows the GroupWise client to be implemented as a home page on the Internet or
Intranet. ITT Fluid Technology personnel can simply enter the home page URL, a mail ID, and password from any HTML
3.0-compliant Web browser and gain access to GroupWise. This allows remote and mobile users to read and send mail, check
calendars, listen to voice mail, and view attachments, tasks, and notes over the Internet.

As an international organization, ITT Fluids also intends to take advantage of GroupWise support for multiple languages. GroupWise
5.2 is available in Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French,
German, Hungarian, Italian, Kanji, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish. The architecture of GroupWise
supports multiple languages (both single-byte and double-byte) on the same system.

About GroupWise 5.2

Novell's GroupWise 5.2 seamlessly integrates calendaring/scheduling, task management, shared folders, threaded conferencing,
workflow, remote and Internet access into a Universal Mail Box. GroupWise 5.2 is platform independent, fifth-generation
client/server Messaging solution. Novell's next GroupWise release, GroupWise 5.5, is now in beta and scheduled for release later
this year.
