Yes, unlike other Asian countries, Hong Kong generate more income from service than industry. However, quite high percentage of these service are for the industry in near by countries. Yen effect will create threat to Asian currencies, including RMB and maybe HK dollar. How high can the interest rate go to keep HK dollar in peg with US dollar if yen keep on falling?
