O'Grady's Reports "The Apple Store is telling customers that the PowerBook G3 Series 292/14.1 will be shipping on 12 June 98"

I hope so, but my experience has been they just make dates and change them as they go. In just a few weeks of waiting I was give quite a few dates. FWIW, one of my coworkers got his PB today-a G3 250-from MacWarehouse. He had been backordered for awhile, so although they might not have stock, at least Apple is getting some out.

Checked three different sources yesterday for WallStreet PowerBook availability and things seems to be looking much better now.

National Reseller- CompUSA now has two WallStreets on display.
VAR- A authorized reseller on Santa Monica Blvd. Also has two WallStreets on display as well as a Apple Studio display. It was beautiful.
Gray market mail order- LA Computer Center now has the WallStreets in stock.

It looks like the availability has significantly improved indeed. A friend of mine ordered one a few days ago. Should be getting in about 1 week.

Good luck to all

Eric
