RE: Real scumbags huh John. And you worked for them right?
Anything goes in the Intel "culture"? You identify the enemy and then you get them anyway you can? Everyone ends up paranoid and vicious. I see what this "culture" did to Engel, what did it do to you?

Yeah, those evil people, they caused Paul Engel to be well off and retire in his 40's. They are terrible aren't they ? I see now that the constant personal attack is out of jealousy.

Paul,
Re:"..Real scumbags huh John.."

Please, Paul... The term Scumbag is taken by our Commander-In-Chief of the US of A. Don't use it indiscriminately.

Re -- "If Intel can use its monopoly position in the market for microprocessors to prevent other companies from enforcing their own patents, other companies will have little incentive to invent new features to challenge Intel's dominance."

I dont think the NYTimes gets the point. Intel's Technical Information is Intel's way of enforcing its own patents.

The issue is, if Intel and others cant assert/enforce its own patent and IP rights, there will be little incentive for Intel and others to invent.

Thus the case is a matter of interpretation, with Intel's view being the broader view.

Furthermore, Intel's technical information is not part of Intel's monopoly . Intel's processors are!!!

PF, re:"Anything goes in the Intel "culture"? You identify the enemy and then you get them anyway you can? Everyone ends up paranoid and vicious. I see what this "culture" did to Engel, what did it do to you?"

Weren't you the same guy who was certain that Intel controlled this thread and was certain that Intel would use that influence to have your posting rights mysteriously removed?

Well, your still here aren't you?

We could all learn something about paranoia and viciousness from you.

Get help.
