You are correct! I guess I still call myself a beer geek because I was that guy drinking a warm guinness while my buddies were slamming cases of Milwaukee's Beast 15 years ago. I have had the Hempen Ale. I recall that they came out with a line extension, but I haven't tried it yet. (Can't get a hold of it where I am in the Bible Belt!!) Frederick is a good company. I was aware of the Wild Goose purchase but not sure of the details - whether they are going to stick with the English-style open fermentation vats or not. It will be interesting to see the battles between Frederick and Independence Brewing in some very key territories. RS
