Anna, I don't believe in holding the metal. Buy the mining stocks through a mutual fund for minimal risk. If things ever get so bad that the mining stocks default, someone will steal your metal from you anyway. <VBG> The mining stocks (XAU) gives you a 3/1 leverage for reasonable changes of POG. I like ASA (South African mines) on the NYSE and RYPMX as an XAU play.
