Smart? I don't know, but thanks! I did buy some yesterday and I'm holding it. If they come out with their chip and go back to $4.00, I'll have a 1000% gain. If they go under, I'll have a 100% loss, but I take the bets that I think have the best odds.

They have the technology, but lack funding. Good / Bad !

They need a CEO, too. But I didn't have a lot of confidence in Burke. He may have a Doctorate in Chemistry, but that doesn't mean he can run a company coming out of the development stage into production.

Can't blame him for writing himself a protective contract, though. Looks smart to me. Don't think he'll sink the company, though. It wouldn't get him his pay. His better option is to wait for the company to be profitable and cash in his stock options. He's also smart enough to know this.

I warned a while back about the $5 million being converted to stock when the stock is down. You know the games - shorting and covering with options... This may still happen - but more likely they'll take advantage of this drastic drop and convert (if they can convert, yet). The added shares will hurt, but additional funding could follow.

Also, I wonder what they could get by selling their film company. I have no confidence in this operation, anyway. Their idea was probably to be out with some of the first DVD movies for DVD players with a scarce supply of movies to run. This is no longer a factor. Can they get anything for this part? They had announced some joint ventures recently. Maybe someone would pay $5 million to buy out InnovaCom's interest. That should be enough to move into production.

Good bet if you ask me - but that's what I'm doing with MY money.
