Dow Jones Newswires -- June 8, 1998 Digitcom Gets Initial German OK For Internet Phone Network Dow Jones Newswires SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Digitcom Corp. (DGIV) received preliminary approval from Germany's Brandenburg government for an initial $25 million financing package, which will be used to make an Internet Protocol telephony network in Germany. In a press release Monday, the company said the funds will be in the form of either government grants for fixed asset investment or low interest loans. The network will be headquartered in Potsdam, Germany, Digitcom said.
