Dont own CPQ. Never did. I must say however that I would luv a computer with a direct key to the web, search engine, etc, etc.
I also thought the deals with AOL, YHOO and GTE were kinda ingenuous. CPQ's revenues will now come from PC sales at the front end, and then from services for as long as the PC is in operation.
You could say CPQ is trying to move from PC-centric to WEB-centric IT.

Now we would await a response from our fearless leader, MD

Yea, last year CPQ said they would duplicate Dell BTO model too.
