Could be....of course IOM could have made Compaq a steal of a deal, too.... who knows if IOM made much money on the deal... I have been in Computer retail, distribution, and manufacturing for 20 years. Lots of weird stuff goes down.

Competition is fierce...but on the whol, no question the ZIP tech in Compaqs IS good news. It will be troubling if the stock doesn;t move from here though.

Agreed....ZIP IS THE STANDARD.....no question. Wait till next week for the knockout punch. I reported it first here several weeks ago and may have more in a few days...ohhh what is this at ingram???? more zip equiped models from h?,i??,,,,,,you never know!!!!
