Sunshine: keeping up with the posts - you need to read EVERY one?

There has been a lot of info posted both here and on Stockhouse's NIR thread. You need to read them all going back to the start of the year (or earlier) to get a good picture of what's happening.

To me there are just too many factors in play to believe that there will not be some big news this week - I though that with the Calgary Oil Show starting today that we would have a trdaing halt this morning, with news to be released during the day. This was just my best guess. The Oil Show continues until Thursday.

I'll just repeat some things here - not all - you'll have to go back through both threads here and on SH yourself.

(1) Calgary Oil Show - NIR/ICI/Aquasol presenting to existing and potential new customers. Worldwide participation;

(2) Al G. (Stockhouse) spoke to Jason last week and he said that there were to be two big news announcements 'next week' - that's now! From what Al said, and from my own DD I believe that they will be:

(2.1) NIR-Aquasol completion of DD - announced April 21 News that it was going to be a 30 day period - but extended - when I spoke to Aquasol they said that they were happy that it was taking a bit longer - wanted to put the best deal together for everyone. The Aquasol acquisition will substantially change Napier and at least two Aquasol directors will sit on Napiers board (from Aquasol). Once the DD is complete, then Aquasol are required to notify their private shareholders (wholly private company) and 21 days later (minimum required by law) the formal shareholders meeting will take place where they'll vote on the merger. By all accounts it's a done deal - but they have to go through the process.

(2.2) A 'big' US oil company has tested SV-35 to clean the inside of their storage tanks. This was suggested in the April 21 News. When I spoke to Jason he mentioned that a large US company was interested in Napier. I thought it may be DuPont (because of their position in the paint industry - it wasn't - confirmed by Sergio in one of his posts to SI). Others have spoken to Napier and it's a large US oil company that's interested - presumably in NIR's cleaning products.

So I expect the 2nd news release to identify the US oil company that is either continuing to test SV-35 (maybe Aquasol solution as well), or has completed testing and has placed an order.

When Napier says that they have two big news releases ready to go this week - I tend to take that at face value.

Re: David Carlson's post: Yay - some action at last. I'm hoping that we will now no longer have to suffer through what we've been subjected to this last week. I'm hoping that this settles it. I've made my peace with 'Peter' here in recent posts - I just wonder why I bothered to put in the effort to do so - better things to do.

Off for some exercise - back later.
