Once and for all...

Short positions on a stock that is undergoing a name-change
sometimes have to cover, sometimes not.

It all depends on the deal itself.
It is decided on a case-by-case basis.
The only way to find out if you have to cover,
is if you are a short. You will receive an e-mail
from your brokerage stating that you must cover before
the name change is put into effect.

I am NOT a short, and have never shorted any stock.
I don't believe in it, and think it's way too risky. JMO

P.S. I spoke with Mr. U earlier today and he is very serious
about achieving the company's goals. He is doing this for his family too, and I know if I were doing this for my family, I'd have that much more rocket-fuel under my cooley!
He also confirmed what we have been constantly saying here, that this is NOT a day-play,short-term play, or even a in-a-coupla-months play. The ones who stay in for the long run will benefit from serious gains in the price of the stock, as well as tax breaks.
