I would think that not a dime of index fund money has been invested in Ascend yet. Depending on whether Ascend is added to the S&P at the market open or close tomorrow, fund money should come in with "market price at close" buy orders tomorrow or Friday. Or do some index funds deploy funds only at the end of each month?

Sorry, I was thinking tomorrow was the11th. Make that "market price at close" buy orders on Friday or Monday, depending on exactly what time of day Ascend is added to the index on Friday.
