Ego.. according to the earlier post of how the MM's manage these BB's, it does make sense. If indeed the MM's are buying to cover their earlier shorts that automatically kicked in when they covered buys for the large houses, then they themselves are controlling the market and maintaining these prices. Only buys from outside the Market Makers arena will push the price (as we witnessed during our feeding frenzy last month) higher. The selling being done these days offer buying ops for the MM's, and of course they won't increase the bid. Only when substantial market awareness arises (financials, restructuring, merger, buyout, revenues, etc.etc) and buys from outside our immediate circle and the MM's arena start, then the price will be driven and the MM's will scramble to cover at any price. Because of all the previous activity in PKGP, the only buyers these days seem to be the MM's covering on the cheap. To bad the entire float of PKGP isn't on this board, we could convince them to stop selling.

I can certainly see how calling for our certs puts them in a bind if the MM's have to come up with the real paper. I just don't believe we have the horsepower to call in as many certs as needed to necessitate such a charge. I would estimate up to 70% would need to call in.
