Looks like I'll get an opportunity to short in the 120's again. Almost shorted some in the 114 range but thought I'd wait to the close since that's when most shorts seem to cover. Then it rallied so strongly that I figured we'd get into the 120 range tomorrow. Still kicking myself for only covering half my short at 100. Oh well, I always seem to be in the hole on this one. Good thing there's no time limit on shorts.

CNet/NBC, yet another deep pocketed competitor. What savvy media giant would want to partner with Yahoo with this stock price? Obviously no one yet is willing to ante up. So far every deal Yahoo signs is a cost to Yahoo. You got to love these semiannual "one time" charges! Let's see, we're going to dilute shareholder value by issuing another 450,000 shares to buy a company that makes no money and then we are going to write off $45 million. Huh? And the public loves it!!!!!!

I see William our resident seesawer has gone bullish on the market again. I can see he is the typical "buy the dip" investor. This market is counting on that mentality.
