BOB,

With all due respect, I consider myself to be somewhat of a "new-ager", and no many people who consider themselves to be died in the wool "new-agers". I have never heard anyone talk of anything resembling those remarks.
FWIW, if I did hear of anyone trying to plot anything like that against anyone, I would not only disassociate myself from them in a heart-beat, I would do anything in my power(without risking my families safety) to make sure that didnt happen.

Mark

Bob:

For your assignment I suggest you review "Conspiracy Theory" with Mel Gibson. Take notes because I will be giving you a pop quiz later this week.

Bob, yes indeed we are close. Unity among the Christians is what I would stress, along with upholding Jesus and Him crucified! Yes, what we say here is foolishness to them, but we must remain faithful and pronounce the truth. I believe the great falling away is just around the corner. Have you seen this website.

<<The christians are now being closely associated with the gun
toting "militia" and cop killing criminals on the evening news.>>

Bob, it is the Christian far right itself which is moving further and further away from mainstream America. No one is "doing" it to them!!! As an example I would cite the new NRA president, Charlton Heston, who went a very long way this week towards making gun ownership part of the Christian right's political platform. The Baptist's male-domination announcement at their convention did not help, either. America is rapidly moving away from the center, into two hostile camps, it would seem.
