That was a good book. It showed me how stocks prices were manipulated a lot. Probably still is true somewhat. I also liked the old timer who's only response to a stock inquiry was, "Well, you know we're in a bull market right now", or "Well you know we're in a bear market right now." Helped convince me that the direction of the market is extremely important to have going in the same direction as your individual stock positions.

A. Elder suggests looking at a weekly chart of the market to get a good take on the general trend.
