The fetus is not a human being until it is viable without the mothers body. When it reaches that point where it can physically survive without her food supply, etc. you can then call it a separate, distinct, indpendent human being.

I think you meant independent not indpendent since you felt it was important to correct my spelling...........

Ok Ann the next time you give birth lay the baby on the floor and see how long it will survive. Remember you stated at birth it becomes a distinct independent human being that can physically survive without her food supply ect.....

Until that stage of fetus development, it is a part of a woman's body. Same as a leg or arm.

That leg or arm you are referring to has been derived from a males sperm and a females egg not to mention the DNA involved. How in the world is that the same as a leg or arm of the women's body since the fetus is composed of DNA from the Male as well as the Female.

The unborn fetus has its own nervous system did you know that. So if you were to stick it with a pin it would react while the mother carrying the child would feel nothing interesting.................... Yessss

>>The fetus is not a human being until it is viable without the mothers body<<

Calling a carrot a supertanker for 50 years will still not make the carrot a supertanker!!Just a Lie!! LIFE IS LIFE YOUNG OR OLD!!!!!!!!

>>When it reaches that point where it can physically survive without her food supply, etc. you can then call it a separate, distinct, indpendent human being.<<

40days.....40days.....HEARTS ENERGY OUTPUT IS 20% of ADULTS.....WHAT IS BEATING????? arm or leg???????

>>Until that stage of fetus development, it is a part of a womans body. Same as a leg or arm.<<

Then cut off the arm or leg and see if it hurts... because as you tear a child to pieces in abortion >>>>>>IT HURTS!!!!!! GOD FORBID!!!!! In fact Jesus says it would be better toss yourself off a cliff rather than hurt a CHILD(BREPHOS)

>>The definition of the word "soul" is nebulous. It is a matter of opinion what a soul really is. <<

Only to those who refuse God and the LIFE SAVING WORK of HIS SON!!!

>>Whatever the reason a woman deems an abortion necessary, it is her body.<<

So why not just cut off a leg or arm if the same like you say?It is also a child(maybe a female)that is being killed.

>>Most importantly, God gave her control of her body<<

How would you know this as you do not believe in the Creator,God Almighty??

And if the WOMAN has control over her body, what is so hard about saying NO!!!!!!to sex. Are you telling me women really have NO control????? That seems odd ?

Dear Ann,

<<Most importantly, God gave her control of her body; as stated before if he trusted men more with this mission he would've given it to them. >>

That is my point God gave her the ability to avoid an unwanted pregnancy in the first place and we need to emphasize that thinking instead of a relaxed attitude of being able to abort later. When it was illegal more caution was used and the bad abortions in closets were very few in number, now we have much better forms of birth control and no fear whatsoever because it is just like having a DNC or a tumor removed. I think it is dangerous to desenstuize ourselves to any form of life and we should encourage more percaution. I pray that our society will see a need to excercise more responsibility to spare the unborn and the women in our world from this problem.
