Calm down dude. RR is just an annoying gnat. AMZN is a very volatile stock. Anyone who plays it knows that. Let's just keep our eye on the facts and not the moves based on fear/greed/panic.

Amazon now is valued more than Borders and Barnes & Noble. It's very funny. Everyone assumes they will do $400+ million this year, but even at $500 million they make less than 1/4 either BGP or B&N. And that is projected revenue vs trailing revenue. Eventually people will wise up or get some help from a spate of earnings warnings from people like Intel and possible further Asian/Russian crises.

All the internet stocks were rocketing today. But most of those who rocketed had already had fairly decent declines ... but not Amazon. AMZN over 52-week high and I'd expect some wise profit-taking here using the short squeeze as cover.

CS,

<see you again when the market cracks........;^)>

Are you saying that as soon as the market cracks your place where you trade will change so you can come back and post as often as you do now? If that is the case please explain your new place as to where you will be trading!

CS, I feel as you do about AMZN and I'm short also, but it is not very wise to say things about a stock or to individuals on threads that might come true such as name calling and such as this stock will never do this or that! The market has a way to do what ever it takes to make one look like a fool!

Thanks for getting out, for it is usually a good sign when the most vocal person on a thread gives up his or her position rather it be long or short in a stock!

Good luck with what ever you are going too!

Hank

CS you did the smart thing for throwing in the towel today on Amzn. You've insured yourself against considerable losses by taking the first small loss. In so doing, you will keep your account in order so that at some future time, when you have a constructive idea, you will be in a position to go into another deal. Wish you all luck, Regards.

>> time to get out<< CS - I know how you feel - sorry to see you the victim of this nonsense. I am keeping mine , as I consider it a quest for sanity at this point. Not my sanity , but the market's. It is almost inconceivable that this POS stock is valued at this level... what an absurdity. Ciao

the timing is actually ironic for me, as I will no longer be trading from home as of next
week....I will be by every now and the to check on the boards, but no way will I have the
amount of time I have had to follow all the posts and write as frequently....good luck to
everyone.....see you again when the market cracks........;^)

May I ask what happened to your time?

Glenn
