It would be a matter of fair play. If the participants on this thread followed this maxim, and confine themselves to the issues at hand, then the issues could well be argued without an complete breakdown of the ' rules'. One's opinion are always viewed as facts, thats how the human thinks. I have no problem with shots being fired across my bow, if the nature of these shots are within the confines of ' fair play '. If not, then the one not following this maxim should not feel insulted when met with a broadside. Lets hope that all respect these rules of fair play.
