I don't know if anybody out there reads Investor's Business Daily, but there is a nice article about floppies.

Basically said that zip drives, although cheap do not read 1.44 floppies and sony is coming out with a HiFD which will backup 200 MB.

But folks, let's get to leading edge technology, for my money I would rather buy Phillips Electronics' recordable CD for $350 and be able to back up 650 mb at one time. Plus the disks are only $1 as opposed to SuperDisks and zip disks which cost about $12 apiece.

I'm afraid IOM has really lost the battle for the long term.

Besides, their technicals stinks
