Compaq has 13 Presario desktop models. The 7 most expensive ones are the ones with a Zip.

This means that the vast majority of Compaq computers will ship WITHOUT a Zip, because the cheap computers are the ones that are selling. And Zip HAS REPLACED NOTHING.

This announcement is essentially a non-event, and Wall Street treated it as such today. BUt I give Iomega credit. They can still hype meaningless news into a frenzy and draw in Sucker Investors time and time again.

IOM $4.80.
