hey ross.

just realized that you're a real guru in advanced GET at the advanced get thread.

thxs so much for the posts there..

jan wolansky and I have been talking GEt for a little bit.. im a new user but i've done all the 5 videos and such. pretty familiar with the GET tools.

I've changed the XTL = 21 (jan's recommendation)..

I've also found the Elliot trigger (long term and short term) very useful..

again, my trades are about 1 week to 3 months.

any info on GET and your feelings..

I'm so glad you came to this thread.. i want to take full advantage of GET, and i think talking to you and jan will help a lot.

Thanks so much for the great work there.

take a look at Circuit City (cc)

notice how the elliot trigger long term went abv the 0 trigger line 5/20/98 and this was also confirmed with the moving avg bands breakout.

furthermore, (using xtl=21), blue price bars appeared.
furthermore, 5/17 osc crossed the 0 line as well.

along with my metastock indicators, CC took off from there.

any comments on how you use GET on CC?

hope to hear more from you.

hi ross (TXN)

sorry for the confusion.. i was saying "not too accurate" in that, txn broke 200 day ema @ 54.. i wasn't expecting that to happen.
however, there is one more show - stopper. it is the 50 day ema that was almost at TXN's high today. that could be a good resistance..

HOWEVER, it looks if one uses the 200 *simple* moving average, TXN DID NOT CROSS ABOVE it (lisa, you hear that?)

so ross, you brought up an interesting point..

As for GET, ellipse (short term turned on since 10/70 is abv strength band, we are supposedly on a short trade), the current wave 4 leg will end soon. for others out there, we are on a wave 4 decline according to GET.

does the PTI = 58, mean new lows will be obtained?

<< On 15 minute bars there
is clearly a 5 wave move up with oscillators diverging.. >>

which means it's on a last gasp uptrend?

thanks for your thoughts.. any errors i've made, please do let me know. I'm a newbie at elliot wave, but im trying <g>

hi ross,

ken was talking about intc earlier this night, i was wondering if we could use GET to help analysis INTC.

i have a wave 3 down right now. it appears that wave 3 down has been reached, with a HEAVY MOB at 63 as support.

i see wave 4 up target hash marks around 71.3 (which corresponds to the broken support broken on merced chip delay news)
elliot trigger (long term still below 0), so no uptrend (large) in the near term.

any thoughts that you can add? TXN is doing really well with our analysis.
