I decided to vote against everyone, with the exception of Xin Cheng, who seems to be contributing technically, if not managerially, to the GigaMux. Unfortunately, he also only owns 2,500 shares, plus the stock options granted to him.

I don't know why Dr. Cheng is remaining with the company. He has a PhD, was the company's Senior Staff Scientist 1988-90, Director of Advanced Technology 1990-93, and President since 1995. Despite this, he's not listed on the compensation table of the four most highly compensated executive officers whose salary and bonus exceeded $100,000! How is it possible that he's paid less than the VP-Operations, VP-Sales, and President-Far East Division? That seems hard to believe. It's hard for me to decipher whether he's also paid less than $100,000, or if he could be making more than that, but less than the other three guys mentioned.

In any case, if I were an executive recruiter, I'd call him in a heart-beat and find him a job paying twice what he's making.
