Reality Check was told by John that $500,000 was needed for due diligence by the Bank. Nobody knows how this money was to be spend and why bank needed those funds (beyond that without it there is no dd). John has never publicly or privately (to me)admitted to this. Moreover we were all told about the process of dd in some painful detail but conveniently the fact that dd is not processing and in fact has not been started for last 6 months, somehow has slipped John's mind. The word "ongoing" used in his last post was the last thread of hope at the time that maybe Reality was mistaken. Today's release proves different. I think we all have to adjust the arguments for no production from Mizek to this factor not the price of the metal as John was applying, at least not as a major factor. Now we may be happy that he has found his $2M but can we trust him as we did before? This is a important issue as we are still in the Kazakhstan's reality, with some money, no bank's loan and no production. One could say (including me)that ANZ would be far away from SPE if things were in bad shape. Antares seems to be happy from this investment. Is this a success or a fiasco?
John has lost credibility battle with Reality Check, that is a fact.
I won't be alone if I say that Antares is the last company to be called a "major". Despite of that it will become a partner in 20% of Mizek and K&A and they eyeing Abyz as well (from their investment release). I am going to look differently on John's posts now on if he decides to post here. I think that honesty is something very hard to find in this business, but I have not seen opinion that it was a bad thing. I thing that lines like "welcome to VSE reality" must go away and be replaced by acts of people which I thought, John has belonged to. Including him in this group of "good guys" would be naive after all of this. I still think that was a mistake on John's part not a cold calculation. Although it has affected my view on him, SPE continues to be a company of great potential. There is plenty of metal for Antares and diluted SPE to have those shares go up if he does what he promised. If he can keep them, that is.
