Duncan, I thought of you when I was watching Frontline!!! PBS has actually done a very good job at covering this scandal in a serious, scholarly way. Usually public television is accused of being ultra-liberal, so I am not sure what happened, but I have been very impressed so far. Their coverage of the Tyson scandal was also damning to the president, with envelopes of cash (bribes) being flown from corporate headquarters to Governor Clinton.

I was pretty surprised to find out it was Jim McDougal himself who talked to someone from "The New York Times" and made sure the Whitewater mess followed Clinton. Who could really blame him? Clinton totally shafted him, and McDougal felt betrayed.

Does anyone who saw this want to discuss it? I was stunned at how incriminating the program was.
