Does anyone out there know why this little gem is halted again? Is it the ISTV deal announced in Sept.97? or the Alpla Cell(Burasia related) financing deal (US$ 20 million in "long term Treasury bills" and strip bonds) announced in Feb.? or the Mitech deal announced in March? Or is it the latest joint venture/merger deal with OnlineDirect that the Chairman and president of RES spent the better part of Friday afternoon (prior to the Tues. June 16th trading halt)enthusiastically telling about to anyone who would listen to him at his downtown Ottawa local?? Or is it simply that none of their announced big deals ever came through, their debenture has matured (refinancing announced May 1997) and they haven't found a way to pay it or phrase it yet?
