Anyone know similar businesses to PTEK? Are they the first, only? A friend called me and said this was a real buying opportunity. He knows I am a contrarian who likes to go against the grain ( and often make the most $$). However, I like to remind him I am also not a lemming and will not just jump. I also like stocks not in the commodity business or first to market without some type of "lock" on the market (ie Msft, intel, cisco, ascend). Can anyone tell me what this company has that others dont or can't quickly emulate? Are there any serious competitors? Also, this company seems like a great buy-out candidate for a company like Sprint, MCI, Worldcom who are always trying to one up theother with neat services and value add? Any possibilities on a buyout?
