BOB,

<<OK, with that I will pledge to make E3 in Atlanta next year.>>

Kewl. Except that E3's in LA next year. So you'll be lonely in that big ole World Convention Center in Atlanta, I'd say... :)

Alas, seems that I have yet another mission to accomplish. [sigh] I guess I'll have to meet both you and Scott in the GT booth at E3 next year, introduce you to each other, then mediate the fireworks for the next half hour or so? A woman's work is never done! BTW, I'm sure he'll let you into a private screening if you smile and flutter your eyelashes like I did. <gggg> Now that is definitely something that I want on digital image - BOB making nice nice with Scott! LOL!

And, you TA genius: 6 on GT? ACK!! Bite your tongue! Frankly, I wasn't pleased with the weak close today myself, but there really is a lot of support in the low 8 range, and I hope it holds though the gaming issues continue to suck lately...you may be right, though... who knows? Note when the stock started to falter, and the 144s that were filed just prior to that time. (DUH!)

I do think, however, that the future quarters will not disappoint, given the line-up and positive press that GT received following E3.

I would hope that the street will view the Virgin deal as a big positive. Frequently, though as we all well know, stock prices suffer on such announcements due to the big bucks that need to be expended to seal the deal and integrate the merger/acquisition. Only time will tell, but I do believe that the company has turned itself around and they are heading in the right direction. Still, I don't blame you, Buddy, and others for being skeptical. Once burned, twice shy and all of that, but then again, Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It's all relative, my friend.

And hey, behave yourself. For once. ;)

xoxo,
V.

Hello Bob et al.
Do you have any news link for the Virgin acquisition? My
understanding was that GT had declined due to the high price
tag. GT's price beginning to look interesting though; target 6 1/2 -
6 3/4 for getting back in. Amazing how short my memory is after
I vowed never to be long GT again!

Bob,

What about potential conflicts between C&C and TA? Do you think GT will develop and sell both as separate franchises? This would seem to be the logical course of action......but who knows?

Also, I haven't seen any PR on the Virgin deal besides the murmurs and gossip during E3. Is this a done deal?
