"we didn't really test the market's reaction to "shocks" so, tomorrow will be interesting.

I would hope that not too many people will be shocked. Not to offend anyone but anyone holding DDs makers, chip makers, or semi equips has to be nuts. These have been screaming under-performers (in earnings)since October. I almost choked on my dinner tonight when I heard nightly Business report state that Seagate had been upgraded by some analyst. They are either using the dart board method or have customers that want to get out quick.

The market won't be shocked until someone unexpected pre announces or misses. I did notice that some software companies missed today so if the NASDAQ drops, I would think they are to blame not WDC.

(Had to come back and edit this since I just found an article mentioning possibility that WDC could be bankrupt. NOW THAT WOULD MOVE THE MARKET!!!
