Nancy, A wonderful point. How does one question the integrity of a supreme being? In some sense, this is like a dog questioning its master. 1. Some people on this thread believe that God has spoken to them directly. 2. Some believe they have been spoken to by the Bible. 3. Some believe the words of men (or women) who are one (or both) of the first two. What do you think of a person who says, "What gives you the right to question me? I know the truth." What do you think of a person who says, "This book must be taken literally and is never wrong. It is the truth." What do you think of a person who says, "God spoke to me and told me to kill all unbelievers, for they do not believe the truth." :-) Greg
