<< CCSI also claims that the Colormate III's bloodless
and painless test is unique and proprietary, and that it will capture a significant share of the
jaundice monitoring market. >>

That's from Asensio. When did CCSI claim it would "capture a significant share of the jaundice monitoring market"? Anybody have a press release or SEC document where such a claim is made?

>>>I'm not in this stock right now, but I know that the FDA just doesn't give out approvals for devices that are going to be used on infants like that<<<

The FDA approval is an approval to sell the unit in the medical market. FDA approval does not guarantee that the device will find market acceptance. I stand by my conclusion that if the device was marketable, it would be being sold by now. That there are no significant sales so far removed from approval is a huge red flag.

You know, if I had a nickle for every time I've heard that I better watch out, there's BIG NEWS and a BLOODY SQUEEZE coming, I'd have a considerably larger amount of money than if I had a million dollars for every time it's happened. 50 is a fantasy. Actually, 15 is a fantasy. Actually, double digits is a fantasy. You just don't understand what an Asensio sell rec does to a stocks price.

Bob,
Just because a company recieves a patent or FDA approval on a device or medication doesn't mean it will ever hit the market. I bet Pfizer has hundreds of patents on unmarketable medications. Have you ever heard of a company called the Panda Project? They have some twenty or thirty patents for improvements to PC architecture that could revolutionize PC wiring and construction but can't get anyone to incorporate their patented ideas. Why? Who knows..
About Dr. Maisel. As long as CCSI's device works, it's totally immaterial whether CCSI sells 0 or a million units, it won't effect his reputation one iota. It doesn't matter if CCSI goes bankrupt tomorrow or if Darby gets convicted of fraud, all he's said is the device works.
As far as anyone signing a deal with CCSI, the party who is or has been in negotiations (if there ever was one) would obviously be aware of what is going on with CCSI's stock price and would definitely use it as leverage to drive the bargain they want.
Granted, CCSi's device is probably a wonderful piece of equipment, but then again so was the Betamax and the RCA LaserDisc of the late 70s..
You know if you short this thing while it is at 6 1/2 and if it goes to 3, you'd have the same amount of money as you did when CCSI was at 14, provided you weren't on margin.
Decisions, decisions....
