Excellent points Jack! You can't play the preferential treatment game with your channels. They will eat you alive. If Compaq wanted into the BTO market they should have cut themselves loose from the channels in all but the sub $1000 retail segment. Period. End of story. But they wanted it both ways.

TECHSTER...Is just trying to wire folks up..At heart..She is really pretty cool.I remember when I was a kid..I would get something red and go to the cow pasture and pick at the bulls..Very exciting..
