not being deferential..great post gold up this morning :> just heard on bloomberg news..labor getting so tight that companies are offering signing bonuses! heard more worries about inflation..mentioned McDonald's worker in mid west get $8 an hour..wow 8X 40 = 320 X 52 = 16640(sp)--pretax.. those Mc workers are certainly going to spend spend spend and drive us into inflation... I don't agree with Tom...women also get about 75% of what men get paid.. I know very brilliant people who don't make much money but who have not sold their soul to the ? It can be costly not to join the non "slobs" but it might be more costly to join them! anyways the huge infrastructure spending on the highways just passed I found quite interesting..over 200 billion...(ps I was hoping these were going to be the programs that the government was going to use way back when instead of just bailing out the banks and demolishing prudent savers return on fixed income)
