The 12MB Monster 3D II

The 12MB Monster 3D II graphics accelerator features four megabytes of EDO memory for its Voodoo2 pixel engine from 3Dfx Interactive and eight megabytes for its two texel engines. Monster 3D II's dedicated hardware triangle setup engine enables faster 3D rendering and single pass multi-texturing and trilinear filtering to provide smoother, more defined visuals.

Other key functions include edge anti-aliasing, Gouraud shading, alpha blending, texture mapping and more. The 12MB Monster 3D II is also capable of running some of today's hottest 3D game titles at resolutions as high as 800 x 600 while performing intensive Z-buffering effects.
