The South will recover, the North otoh has a less affluent "friend" to the south which may not be so willing to help finance their emergence from the dark ages. Couple this with the continued famine and things just look worse every year. The hope would be the north doesn't think a falling Won or stock market is a signal to attack and take what they want and "cripple the southern puppets feeble economy."

Re: Intel investments...

I haven't heard anything about them, I know as little about silicon or Intel' plans as I did before I joined up. Too busy just keeping the systems running.

BTW, isn't a Sparc cpu module or an Alpha or even the PII with slot I/II just a really big SIMM/DIMM?

Seems it's already caught on. ;-)
