Greenspan COMMENTS ON Y2K

Senator Bennett gave a sobering summary of serious adverse economic consequences from Y2K problems around the world. Greenspan supported this view but said FED has no way to estimate economic damage. He said Fed estimtes 50 Billion $ cost in USA and supports spending as much money as practical to minimize probability of economic damage.
