Does anyone have any experience with Investrade? I sent in my paperwork and a check and they called me to say that I need to send in a margin agreement to trade options. I have two other brokers that I traded options with who don't require a margin agreement. The kids on the phone insisted that this was the 'policy'. Anyway, I sent them a margin agreement but in the meantime I can't trade because they placed a waiting period for the first check to clear, even though it shows as being in the money market fund already. The web site works but is slow. I shudder to think how bad it will be when more customers arrive. Oh well, this will probably be another fiasco like Ameritrade and Suretrade.

>> are they going to charge me 4 X 9.95 ($39.80) to complete that one order?<<

NO, they only charge you one transaction (9.99), as long as you do not cancel the original order and re-enter the new order.

Jack, I had trades broken up from time to time,
but only get charged $9.99 for the whole thing
(e.g. sell 1000 sh;
1st partial fill 500 sh, commission $9.99
2nd partial fill 500 sh, no commission.)
Good luck,
Facai
