<<Is there any info on the sales volumes or relative sales volumes for the different models?>>

According to Dataquest, last year Compaq shipped 10.1 million units worldwide. The "personal line" (i.e. Presario) is said to be about 20% of CPQ business, so you can estimate 2 million Presarios worldwide. Don't know yet if all the new SKUs announced by CPQ are worldwide or just North America. While a breakdown of sales per SKU are certainly available, it is rarely available for free. These days the lower priced SKUs (non-Zipped) are the ones that are grabbing the most market share. My quesstimate would be somewhere around 50%. That leaves about 1 million units to be sold over the next 12 months with Zip.
