Do you think SEG is in a better position than QNTM?

What surprises me is through all of this QNTM still has had a positive balance sheet.

I have own various amounts of Seagate for over ten years.
Although there has been many rocky periods for this company,
it is resilent. A corporate turn around always takes longer
than shareholders think.

I contribute here infrequently because I lack expertise on
the mechanics of disk drives. But I know that in order to
make big return on my investment the whole industry must
do well. Therefore, I want the competition to make Seagate's
products better and I want the whole industry to prosper.
Weak companies that fail will help SEG but I believe
WDC problems are still our problems.
