Bobby and all,
It is interesting that as I write this,AG is speaking and seems to imply that all is quite good.As each day passes,I become more convinced that we are watching the beginnings of a global financial meltdown. The subtle signs are becoming more pronounced.First the base metals went with the rest of Asia, then the A$,now the Cdn$ along with the CRB,next gold?Things seem to be accelerating to the downside. The long term charts look very bad on all the aformentioned. The USA and Europe are quickly becoming competatively obsolete. At the first sign in which lower rates do not help along the US economy,I think that the rush into gold will begin. This is certainly not going to be the garden variety boom bust cycle.Prices look as if they are going to go to incredible extremes.
I have to chuckle as they continue to talk about inflation this AM,while this massive wave of global deflation threatens all.
