I agree, this stock has absolutley nothing to do with the low price of oil TODAY. Maybe someone can educate me by answering the following ?

In the semiconductor stocks, they usually make their biggest moves about 6 months BEFORE the fundamentals either get better or worse. I would guess the big oil stocks act in a similar fashion. Anyone know? I know I can just go look at a chart of TX OR CHV OR XON, but I just wanted to let the new folks in on the idea that stocks are usually a good LEADING indicator of things to come, whether that be good or bad industry/company fundamentals.

To those that added today, congrats..to those that panicked out, may that be a lesson you will learn, and vow to not let that happen to you again.

Sincerely,

Steve

I tend to agree with you Blitz. The property was purchased for its coal and Natural gas reserves(correct me if I'm wrong). I work at a power company and all I know is that with summer comming the demand for Natural gas goes dramatically upwards! Because Natural Gas is used to generate electricity. We do more than just OIL! :))

Blitz - regarding coal:

It is my understanding that Mr. Uselton's team is not planning on doing any coal extraction itself, that the coal business will depend upon a JV. I could be mistaken, but I believe that is what Mr. Uselton has most recently said regarding coal.
