"strong entrepreneurial management" is one of the attractions that YBM held for Sceptre mutual fund manager Allan Jacobs; this insight is provided by a poster ("bylo") on the Mutual Fund library Sceptre thread (@ fundlibrary.com ) who quotes from an interview with Jacobs. It'll be fascinating to learn what drew other fund managers and advisors, brokerage analysts etc. to the deal. Collectively, the explanations of these players may help define "due diligence" as it is exists today on Bay Street.
