Agreed, I think CPQ has got to develop different methods. Dell has such a great reputation with Intel as a supplier that it gives others who deal with Dell the perception that Dell is a low risk, competent vendor. Look at CPQ, going with anybody who can supply them with chips, even tough the risk of poor yields means the next CPQ pc you get may have who know what inside. It's a mixed bag of crap, a gamble, no, Dell has a great reputation and yet someday it will be a mature co. and the stock has to stop going up and people will turn on Dell too.
