Now that we're actually talking research info: REPOST

Although the company claims its ultimate interests are at least in part "development and production of passed over developed domestic oil and gas reserves utilizing modern technology to find and enhance production", we should begin with what we know:

1. 30 separate properties in West Virginia with approximately 1,300 acres owned in fee and an additional 1,300 acres of mineral rights. Reserve estimates by the U.S. Geological Survey (''U.S.G.S.'') indicate in excess 10,000,000 tons bituminous coal.

2. an additional 8,000 acres of mineral reserves in Lincoln and Raleigh counties in West Virginia.

Below is a beginning of info on WV Coal Mininig:

WEST VIRGINIA:

MOUNTAIN STATE AREA: 62,758 sq km (24,231 sq mi).
POPULATION: 1,822,000. CAPITAL: Charleston, pop. 57,100.
ECONOMY: Industry: chemical products, mining, primary metals, stone, clay, and glass products, tourism. Agriculture: cattle, dairy products, poultry, apples.

Bituminous coal, natural gas, oil, and silica underlie this rugged Appalachian state. Only Wyoming and Kentucky produce more coal.

John,

Again, I agree. Soo many people posting are treating this stock like a "fly by night" day trader's "pick of the day. No wonder they're nervous and dumping....they got into this one for the wrong reasons.
